OVERVIEW
Discover Estancia El Colibri at the foot of the Sierras de Córdoba in Santa Catalina, a charming house inspired by the Argentine estancias of the early 20th century with dark wood floors and colonial-style furniture.
El Colibri is where the great outdoors is omnipresent and always calling. A place where you can enjoy horseback riding, polo lessons, or a day at the farm among cows, chickens, sheep, goats, and llamas.
The Estancia’s main house offers several luxury rooms and suites, some with private terraces and others with fireplaces. Alternatively, you can stay at the Maison du Colibri, the former family home of the owners, also on the ranch with its spacious interiors and views of the Santa Catalina River.
Gastronomy plays a leading role at the Estancia, with farm-to-table cuisine enjoyed in various locations around the ranch. Dishes are prepared with fresh produce harvested from its organic garden, and everything from bread to pasta is 100% homemade. Traditional dishes and Asado—the renowned Argentina barbeque—are among the menu options available at the Estancia.
GASTRONOMY
El Colibrí offers a variety of epicurean pleasures in different locations around the ranch.
You can enjoy our famous Asado at the clubhouse, with a panoramic view of the polo grounds for lunch or dinner.
The Santa Clarita River banks set the scene for a picnic lunch—prepared by the Chef—while on an excursion horseback riding, mountain biking, or trekking.
Another place to enjoy lunch is in the vegetable garden. Depending on your tastes, the gardener will pick ripe fruit and vegetables, and the Chef will prepare a healthy and light meal before your eyes. Enjoy in the shade of the garden trees.
La Table du Colibri, the Estancia’s restaurant, offers farm-to-table cuisine with fresh ingredients from the organic garden and meats and cheese sourced from Estancia Don Andres. With these fresh ingredients and natural flavors, the Chef specializes in traditional Argentine recipes.
The wine list at La Table du Colibri offers a selection of some of Argentina’s best wines.
During the evening, you can relish the “best Argentinean Asado”—as voted by Lugares magazine—with 12 types of meat cooked over the parrilla embers. All accompanied by salads from the farm and a French touch with the Savoyard Gratin.
Enjoy the cuisine at Estancia El Colibrí as part of an all-inclusive stay.
